Senior Business Analyst - Middle Office


Middle Office:
Middle office at Adecco deals with the processes of Work force management in the overall context of Order to cash. Middle office deals with running efficient operations and managing data needed required to deliver its staffing services. Typically, the end point of the Middle office capabilities is to be able ‘To Pay’ Adecco’s associates and ‘To Bill’ its clients. In doing this the processes around Middle office handle Contract, Product and pricing related information and interact with Front Office and Back office processes. In the services sector Middle office is often considered as a complex block, simplifying which could unlock business differentiating efficiencies.
Job Purpose:
Build and manage strategic relationships between IT, vendors and the related Business Process Owners and other Business representatives responsible for delivering Middle office demands at a regional or country level so that the integrity of the Global MO template and capabilities is maintained or enhanced and so wherever possible investment into MO for one country or project can also bring benefit to MO office in other projects or countries etc.
Act as a specialist on global Middle Office capabilities and processes to provide advice, consultancy, guidance and knowledge to local countries so that they can plan their processes and IT roadmap in a way that allows them to optimize the opportunity from global solutions and capabilities in MO
Drive innovation and synergies across businesses (via technology and processes)
Accountabilities and tasks:
  • Championing global MO approach and tools within the region/business unit/function
  • Assist analysis of specific local needs that may need to be managed as an integration with the MO core using additional digital tools.
  • Identifying quality concerns of as-is processes and business dependencies.
  • Coordinating and facilitating requirement gathering activities, playing an active role in the discovery, analysis, value validation, design, and testing phases.
  • Verifying that MO requirements enable business objectives and are relevant, correct, complete and consistent with the global template and governance, including non-functional requirements
  • Work with project teams, other IT teams and vendors to ensure the integrity of the Global MO approach in every deployment so that it maintains a standard core transactional capability.
  • Ensure every deployment maintains agreed global standards which are used by multiple Adecco solutions for additional processes (such as Billing) or reporting (such as BI/Analytics) with clearly defined (and documented) data and integration points.
  • In addition to primary interactions on the business-side, also interacting with project teams, designers, solution architects and enterprise architects to verify requirements.
  • Monitors changes in business, making suggestions and recommendations where MO can further improve business.
  • Ensure governance on change requests so that the integrity of the MO template is maintained
  • Work with Vendors, Architecture and relevant IT teams to ensure that clear System documentation integration documentation so that there is a clear published list of standard integration capabilities and restrictions

Requirements
  • Strong senior stakeholder relationship management. An ability to foster relationships, strong verbal reasoning and fluent English communication.
  • Data savvy and ability to visualize connections between business reality and resulting data trails, to interpret and understand deeper needs behind Business questions and convey these into requirements understandable by the delivery teams.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, proficiency in conflict resolution, and practical experience with problem solving techniques such as negotiation and compromise.
  • Thrives on working independently in a dynamic environment with new challenges and responsibility from day one. Self-starter with high standards of quality and integrity.
  • Experienced with tools and knowledge of methods and with a strong personal drive, logical reasoning, analytical mindset, and a willingness to constructively challenge the opinions of colleagues and business stakeholders.
  • Proven analytic capability and strong logical background such as BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in quantitative field is preferred
