Purpose of the Role
Global Internal Communications at the Adecco Group is responsible to communicate the company’s purpose, strategy and goals to all 35,000 of our colleagues spread across the world.
Working with the Executive management, a network of communicators around the world as well as key stakeholders in the business across all functions and business units, the Global Internal Communications team develops channels, processes and toolkits to enable the entire organization to inform, engage and inspire its employees. The ultimate goal is to help staff at all levels of the company to understand how they can contribute to the success of the company – supporting the building of an engaging culture to achieve success.
The Intern for the Global Internal Communications team will ultimately be responsible for supporting the coordination of multiple projects, the development of content for various digital communications channels and the hands-on involvement at company employee engagement events. She/he will work in a dynamic, diverse team with colleagues from multiple countries worldwide
This will require the ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities ensuring deadlines are met and the various projects tracked.
Core Responsibilities
  • Management of our news content flow, including our intranet as well as global flagship newsletter
  • English content/text drafting, editing and coordinating for publishing in our various internal channels
  • Presentation development for various events and channels
  • Support at employee engagement events
  • Setup and maintenance of data for communications purposes
  • Data-based analyses on the success rate of various communications channels and content
  • Project support for global employee enagement campaigns

Key skills and competencies:
  • Customer-minded and solution oriented
    • Passionate about “exceeding expectations” and delivering outstanding customer experiences

  • Clear attention to detail and structured working method
  • Good planning and organisational skills, dedicated to meeting deadlines
  • Team player who has experience working in deadline-driven environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management
  • Experience with Content Management Systems and other digital tools and communications channels preferred
  • Excellent skills in English required (preferably native speaker level). German and/or French-speaking skills an added asset.
  • Good skills in MS office programmes including MS Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience interfacing with executives is an advantage

Other requirements:
  • Previous experience working in office and corporate environment preferred
  • Travel requirement very low
