The Company


Our client is a leading global manufacturer of engineered fasteners, installation machines, and parts feeding equipment producing over two billion components annually. In addition to high quality products, our client has Application Engineers throughout the world to assist customers, supported by state-of-the-art manufacturing centers and global stocking facilities to simplify the logistics of delivering the products.



The Role


The Technical Sales Representative has three primary order creation (sales) responsibilities:

(1) Proactively managing and selling to the customers assigned to him / her and ensuring that these customers receive a high level of service,

(2) Actively resolving any order discrepancies in his / her area of ​​responsibility, and

(3) Actively qualifying and responding to incoming customer inquiries assigned to him/her.



Main Responsibilities


1. Develops a strong business relationship with customers and actively seeks customer contacts across all facets of the customer (purchasing, engineering, quality and operations, general management).



2. Performs Annual business Reviews, and keeps customer data current and well documented.



3. Resolves any Order Discrepancy - ensures customer orders are processed effectively.



4. Qualifies incoming customer inquiries / leads and determines the best course of action - generates quotes and proposal packages for catalog standard and production standard items.



5. Continuously evaluates customers & Opportunities and refers them to the appropriate sales associate.



a. Proactively calls customers in the sales focus region and secures repeat orders. Ensures that the company receives its new orders with sufficient lead time to ensure smooth and seamless supply.

b. Completes the demand forecast for these customers



6. Documents all customer contact / correspondence per company policy as defined in the Order Creation Overview



Job Requirements



• Customer oriented. Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.


• Strong interpersonal communication skills.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple functions / tasks to meet required deadlines.


• Strong computer skills in Windows and Microsoft office based products


• Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.


• Advanced English + intermediate German OR Polish (B1)



Nice-to-have:



• Associates degree in business, communication or general studies. Advanced studies in sciences or engineering technology preferred. Bachelor preferred.


• Good command of Czech / Slovak / Hungarian
